When Publer is the better tool
If you post to X, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads or Google Business Profile, PlanBatch does not publish there and Publer does. If your images already come out of a designer, a template pack or another tool, the thing this page is about will not help you, and a broader scheduler is the right choice.
PlanBatch is worth it when the images do not exist yet, and making thirty of them by hand is the reason the calendar is empty.

Common questions
What can PlanBatch do that Publer cannot?
Make the images. Publer's bulk CSV schedules posts using media you link to by URL, so the pictures have to exist before you start. PlanBatch renders them from the spreadsheet rows themselves, on branded templates, and then schedules them.
What can Publer do that PlanBatch cannot?
Publish to far more networks, and take larger uploads. Publer covers many platforms beyond Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, and accepts up to 500 posts in one CSV against our 300 at most. If you post to X, TikTok or Pinterest, PlanBatch will not replace it.
Do I have to move off Publer to try this?
No. Nothing here touches your Publer account, and the two can run side by side while you see whether generating the images from a spreadsheet is worth the switch.
Can it do carousels from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Rows sharing a value in a grouping column become one multi-slide post, up to 10 slides, which is the most Instagram accepts in a carousel. Each slide is one generated image.
How many images do I get?
The free plan includes 30 generated images and 10 rows per upload, with 1 connected channel. Pro is 500 images, 50 rows and 9 channels; Agency is unlimited images with up to 300 rows.
Does it need a designer or an API?
Neither. The templates are ready to use and the import is a form: upload the file, map the columns to template fields, generate. Columns whose names match are mapped for you.
