Evergreen post rotation planner
Your best posts are worth sharing more than once, as long as the same one does not come round again too soon. Give the planner your posts, when you post and how long each one rests between outings, and it lays them out on a dated calendar and writes the CSV your scheduler imports. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

How to plan an evergreen rotation
Add your evergreen posts
Paste them one per line, or drop a CSV with a caption column. An image column comes along untouched.
Set when you post
A start date, the days and times you post, your time zone, and either an end date or a number of posts.
Choose the no-repeat window
No post comes round again sooner than this. If you have too few posts for it, the planner says how many to add, or how short a window they can keep.
Keep your order, or shuffle
Shuffling picks a new order for every cycle, and never at the cost of the window.
Download the CSV for your scheduler
Columns and date formats follow each scheduler's own help pages, the same rules the CSV checker applies.
The window is measured on your calendar, not an average
Thirteen posts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays come round again 30 days after a Monday post but 31 days after a Friday one, so they keep a 30-day window. Twelve come round every 28 days and do not. Dividing posts by posts per week would blur exactly that difference, so the planner checks every repeat on the dates it actually falls on. Days are calendar days: with a 30-day window, a post shared on 1 October can go out again on 31 October at the earliest.
Shuffling without breaking the window
A new order every cycle keeps the feed from repeating the same sequence, but a careless shuffle can put a post from the end of one cycle at the start of the next, days apart. The planner only draws posts that have rested long enough, and when no order like that exists it keeps the previous one, so a shuffled schedule never repeats a post sooner than keeping your order would.
Will a network mind the same post twice?
Possibly. Some networks may treat an identical repost as a duplicate. We could not confirm that from any network's published rules, so treat it as a caution rather than a rule. Changing a few words or the image between rounds is the cautious option, and a longer window helps too.
Let PlanBatch rotate it for you
Instead of importing a dated file, upload the same posts with their images or videos and put them into a rotation in PlanBatch. It posts them on the days and times you set, round after round, and never repeats one inside your no-repeat window. It posts to Facebook, Instagram and your LinkedIn profile, and a Facebook or Instagram Story rotates as a Story.
What to expect: each post goes out within a few minutes of its time and counts toward your monthly post allowance. A post that cannot go out at its time, for example because the allowance is used up, is skipped, not posted later, and the rotation carries on with the next one. Your files are kept while they are in a rotation, up to 10 on the free plan.
On a WordPress site, PlanBatch also recycles posts you have already shared. See the WordPress plugin.

How many evergreen posts do I need?
Enough that a full cycle takes longer than your no-repeat window. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, a 30-day window needs 13 posts; posting every weekday, it needs 22. The planner works it out on your real calendar and tells you how many to add.
What does the no-repeat window mean?
The fewest days before the same post may go out again. With a 30-day window, a post shared on 1 October can come back on 31 October at the earliest. Shuffling each cycle never breaks it.
Which schedulers can import the file?
It is written in the bulk-upload format of Buffer, Publer, SocialBee, Sprout Social, Loomly or Metricool, following each one's help pages, or as a plain CSV for any other scheduler. Loomly's and Metricool's full templates are only in their apps, so those files carry the documented columns for you to copy across.
Is it a problem to post the same thing again?
Some networks may treat an identical repost as a duplicate. We could not confirm that from any network's published rules, so treat it as a caution rather than a rule. Changing a few words or the image between rounds is the cautious option.
Can PlanBatch import this file?
No. PlanBatch's bulk upload does not read days and times from a file, so it cannot import this dated schedule. To have PlanBatch post a rotation for you, upload the same posts with their images or videos and put them into a rotation in the app, where you set the days, times and no-repeat window instead.
How is a rotation in PlanBatch different from this planner?
This planner builds a dated schedule for another tool to import, and stops there. A rotation in PlanBatch keeps going on its own: it posts to Facebook, Instagram and your LinkedIn profile (Stories included on Facebook and Instagram) at the times you set, within a few minutes, and never repeats a post inside your window of at least 14 days. Each post counts toward your monthly post allowance, and a post that cannot go out at its time, for example because the allowance is used up, is skipped rather than posted later. Files stay while they are in a rotation, up to 10 on the free plan and 200 on Pro.
Are my posts uploaded anywhere?
No. The posts are read and the schedule is built in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and nothing is stored.
